Macavity the Bus Riding Cat

This week's cat is awesome he rides buses and has been duped Macavity after the T.S Elliot's poem below

 macavity the bus riding cat
"Macavity, Macavity, there's no one like Macavity,
He's broken every human law, he breaks the law of gravity.
His powers of levitation would make a fakir stare,
And when you reach the scene of crime -- Macavity's not there!
You may seek him in the basement, you may look up in the air --
But I tell you once and once again, Macavity's not there!" --
T.S. Elliot, Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats

According to the dailymail, driver, Bill Khunkhun says Macavity gets on the bus, in front of a row of 1950s semi-detached houses and jumps off at a row of shops down the road which include a fish and chip shop. Macavity takes this route two to three times a week and always gets on and off at the same spot. - source

Passenger Paul Brennan who catches the bus to work said, "He sat at the front of the bus, waited patiently for the next stop and then got off. It was was quite strange at first but now it just seems normal. I suppose he is the perfect passenger really - he sits quietly, minds his own business and then gets off."

How bizarre and awesome - someone needs to follow this cat and see if he has made fish and chips cravings!

  1. Cats that catch the train/bus/car fascinates me :)

    1. what super smart little creatures! I think he is even more magical for his different coloured eyes too!
